We are pleased to present “The Genji Series” incense, inspired by the classical literary work, The Tales of Genji, written exactly a thousand years ago in Japan. Shikibu Murasaki, the female novelist created a classical genre of love stories, composed of the fifty-four chapters. The literature later evolved into “Genji-koh”, the most complex form of incense appreciation ceremony.
