Obituary Notice - Passing of our President, Masataka HATA

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our President, Masataka HATA, on August 9, at the age of 71. We are deeply grateful for the kindness, support, and friendship extended to him throughout his life, and we share this news with heartfelt respect.

Mr. Masataka HATA was the 12th-generation President of Shoyeido Incense Company, founded in the early 18th century with over 300 continuous years of history. Mr. Masataka HATA continued the family legacy, offering high-quality incense, both traditional and modern.

In accordance with the family's wishes, we kindly request no condolence gifts.
